Ryantel Systems Limited

Systems Integration & IT Procurement

Complex IT projects, delivered by one accountable team. From structured cabling to national contact centres, Ryantel designs, supplies, installs and supports enterprise infrastructure across East and Central Africa — over 100 network deployments delivered since 2014, in Kenya, Uganda and Zambia.

Contact centres: our flagship practice

Most integrators in our region can sell a PBX or a soft-client. Few can stand up a true contact centre: inbound and outbound voice, omnichannel customer journeys, agent scoring and quality, schedule adherence and forecast-based workforce planning — all wired into the systems your CX team already uses.

We can, because we’ve invested in the specialist platforms that make it possible: Cisco UCCE and UCCX as the routing core, Expertflow for omnichannel customer interaction, and Eleveo for call recording, agent evaluation and workforce optimisation — with Yeastar and Mind CTI extending the practice into mid-market and billing-aware deployments, and Commpeak providing global SIP trunking. This is the stack behind the contact centre systems we run for Kenya Power. Read that case study.

What we build

Enterprise storage: authorised Everpure partner

For organisations done with the five-year storage refresh cycle, Ryantel is an authorised regional partner for Everpure (formerly Pure Storage) — the all-flash platform with the Evergreen architecture: controllers and capacity refreshed in place, no downtime, no re-buying terabytes you already own. FlashArray for block and file, FlashBlade for high-throughput workloads, Portworx for Kubernetes, and immutable SafeMode snapshots that turn a ransomware incident from days into minutes. We own the full lifecycle: design, procurement, implementation and SLA-backed support.

How we deliver

  1. Requirements & site survey. We document what you actually need, on site.
  2. Design & proposal. A written design with bill of materials, timelines and a fixed price.
  3. Supply & installation. Project-managed delivery with a named engineer responsible.
  4. Testing & handover. You sign off against the agreed specification, with as-built documentation, IP schemas and electronic plans.
  5. SLA support. The people who built it are the people who maintain it.

Procurement with financing muscle

Buying hardware through Ryantel gets you more than a price list. We source through authorised distribution channels, so warranties hold, firmware is current, licensing is proper, and counterfeits never reach your racks. Every box we sell can come with installation, configuration and an ongoing support contract — delivered, not just dropped.

Structured trade finance for large orders

Big infrastructure orders usually stall in the gap between “we need it now” and “the payment cycle says next quarter.” Ryantel closes that gap: for large orders we arrange supply through structured trade finance, so equipment ships on the project timeline rather than the payment timeline. We’ve used these arrangements to fulfil national utility contracts — if your procurement committee needs delivery before disbursement, that’s a problem we’ve already solved at national scale.

Proven where failure makes the news

Kenya Power runs its customer contact systems on infrastructure Ryantel supplies and maintains — two competitive national tenders covering IP PBX and contact centre systems on a two-year subscription and maintenance contract, plus voice gateway infrastructure. Read the Kenya Power case study.

Other documented delivery: a high-availability SD-WAN edge for KenGen, a multi-phase campus network at Zetech University (2020–2026), twin campus LANs for KMTC, a fibre backbone for Kim Fay East Africa, and a turnkey head-office buildout for OYA Micro Credit. See all case studies.

Free guide

Don't sign with any IT company until you've asked these 18 questions.

A short, brutally honest guide for Kenyan business owners: the questions that expose an unprepared IT provider in one meeting — and the answers a good one should give you. Knowing them protects you, whoever you hire.

  • The "dirty little secret" of how most IT companies make their money
  • The response-time wording that turns a promise into a commitment
  • The ten-minute flash-disk test that shows whether your backups are real
  • The contract traps to find before you sign, not after
