The challenge

A new head office is the one chance to get everything right at once: network, security, access control and meeting rooms designed as a single system instead of bolted together by four different contractors who never meet.

What Ryantel delivered

• The complete passive layer: trunking, conduit, Cat6A cabling, 8-core multimode fibre backbone, floor-embedded LAN and power boxes, 22U server cabinet with 8-way PDUs
• The active network: Ubiquiti USW-Pro-24-PoE switching, 10G fibre uplinks, WiFi 6 access points
• Physical security: Hikvision NVR and cameras, biometric access control
• Boardroom AV and video conferencing

The result

One contractor, one design, one handover — from the conduit in the wall to the camera in the corner to the video call in the boardroom. For a regulated microfinance institution, it also means one accountable party when an auditor asks who has access to what, and one number to call when anything needs attention.
