Ryantel Systems Limited

Education

Campus IT that survives 5,000 simultaneous students.

Universities and colleges run some of the most demanding networks in the country. Registration week alone would stress a bank: thousands of students hitting the portal at once, Wi-Fi dense enough for lecture halls, and a service desk drowning in the same forty questions. Then the semester starts and it happens again.

Ryantel has delivered structured network infrastructure for Zetech University, KMTC, Kisii University and the University of Nairobi — campus networks built to hold up at peak, link multiple sites, and grow with enrolment rather than against it. At Zetech, that’s six years of continuous phases since 2020: roughly 210 network points, a 10G Layer-3 core and campus-wide wireless, progressively densified as the university grew. At KMTC, twin campus LANs in Nakuru and Nyeri delivered in parallel to one specification, every drop tested and certified. We design for the worst week of the academic calendar, because that’s the week that decides your reputation.

Beyond the cabling, we take the repetitive load off your staff. AI assistants handle admissions queries and student-service questions around the clock — fee balances, registration steps, document requirements — and hand the genuinely complicated cases to a human. Your team stops being a FAQ machine and starts being a service desk.

Relevant experience: Zetech University · Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) · Kisii University · University of Nairobi, repeat engagements since 2022 · Kenya Education Management Institute · Adventist University of Africa.

Request a campus site survey. We’ll document what your network can take — and what it can’t — before registration week finds out for you.
